FACILITIES
All our facilities have been designed and built under the principles of sustainable architecture: making clear the forest to fell trees without buildings, using recycled materials, install cleaner technologies such as solar panels and rainwater collectors and leverage cross ventilation to avoid using air conditioners.

Visitor center:
An open infrastructure of 140m2 with 2 bathrooms, a small shop / warehouse, a terrace and a guard room. The center can be reached by a road car 600m from Pipeline Road, and there is parking for 7 cars and one coaster. From this center comes out the trails. This center is energy self-sufficient thanks to solar panels and a system for collecting rainwater from the roof to use the bathrooms. It was constructed in 70% recycled old buildings of the Canal Zone materials. In the middle is a selling point of water and cold sodas, granola, caps, shirts, coats, repellent and others.

Canopy observation tower:
At 200 meters from the center by a gravel path and wooden walkway is an observation tower 100 feet / 32 meters. You climb a spiral staircase of 174 steps, with rest and observation platforms every 25 feet / 8 meters to the terrace beyond the forest canopy. The tower, green painted steel, is original design by a Panamanian architect.

Forest trails:
There is a circuit of 1.1 kilometers of trails in the forest. These trails are mild to moderate difficulty, made of fine gravel, 1.20 meters wide on average and rest areas in 2 places: at the lakeside Calamito, where a small wooden platform with benches allows the observation aquatic life on the shore, and another wooden platform halfway longest trail with benches.
